These tasty little morsels quickly became a favorite in this home. They are quite delicious and are very appealing to the eye. A crowd pleaser for sure. These pork dumplings are also absolutely fantastic if your trying to impress that special someone without too much effort. They can be made ahead of time and frozen uncooked , simply thaw cook and serve.
Ingredients for filling:
- 1 lb. of ground pork
- 3-4 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. green onion or chives finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. lite soya sauce
- 1 & 1/2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp. dry ginger or 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger
Directions:
Combine all ingredients being careful not to over mix. Place about 1 tsp. in the center of a won ton wrapper. Fold and cook as desired. I like to brown the bottoms of mine in a frying pan then add about a cupful of chicken broth and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Yummy! Below you’ll find an old video of me making these tasty morsels in my kitchen. I like to serve mine with a little dipping sauce. Simply combine the following and serve. Enjoy!
