Absolute Best Homemade Pizza

This pizza is a very special treat in our home. Our grandson Dawson just loves it. He can make every thing from scratch now and can eat an entire pizza to himself. This recipe for the crust comes from Laura Vitale you can find her on YouTube. I really Love her.

Her father was a real Italian pizza maker so if anyone knows how to make a great pizza dough, she does. I use a quick rise yeast in mine because sometimes you just cant wait. Here’s a great article all about yeast all kinds of yeast.

Loaded with cheese, bacon, ham, pepperoni, salami, onions, olives and pineapple, you can pile on as many toppings as you like but keep in mind that the more toppings you add, the less the crust will rise. Sometimes I’m good with just cheese and pepperoni. Sometimes we stuff the crust!

The crust is crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside the perfect texture for soaking up your delicious home made sauce. With fennel, basil, garlic, chili flakes and oregano its as pleasing to the nose as it is to your taste buds.

Here’s a video of My grandson and I making Pizza everything from scratch including the sauce.
